
James E. Moroney
Chief Executive Officer
Jim joined Momentum Manufacturing Group in 2010 as CEO from the long-term management group of Dorman & Fawcett, an advisor to MMG since late 2009. Jim began his career in public accounting at Coopers & Lybrand and has more than 40 year’s experience as a CFO and COO at the public company level and in three entrepreneurial ventures. These businesses achieved exceptional success and profitability during his tenure. Jim holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He was also a member of the United States Olympic rowing team in 1972 and 1976.

Steven Gore
Chief Commercial Officer
Steve joined Momentum Manufacturing Group in 2019 to run the southern operations, corporate marketing, and business development. In 2020 he became Chief Operating Officer expanding his responsibilities to oversee all MMG operations. In early 2023, he transitioned into the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer to lead corporate sales, marketing, and engineering teams to support the company’s strong growth and newly formed business units. Before joining MMG, Steve spent over 12 years with Gerber Technology in various executive leadership roles, including President of Gerber’s Industrial and Automation Solutions businesses. He joined Gerber through their acquisition of his Boston-based company, Data Technology, Inc. He holds undergraduate degrees in Business Management and Marketing and a Master of Business Administration.

Thomas W. Mungovan
Chief Financial Officer
Tom joined Momentum Manufacturing Group as CFO in 2020. He has over 20 years of financial leadership experience in a variety of early-stage and global technology companies, including Tokyo Electron Ltd., Smith & Nephew plc, Endeca Technologies, Inc., and Synopsys, Inc. Tom is a licensed CPA and began his corporate finance career in the Boston office of Deloitte. He has a bachelor’s degree in Physics from the College of the Holy Cross, a master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a master’s in Accounting/MBA from Northeastern University’s Graduate School of Professional Accounting.

John Brocke
President, Technology
John joined Momentum Manufacturing Group in 2022 to lead the integration of the latest acquisitions supporting the semiconductor, defense, medical, and aerospace markets. He brings over 20 years of experience in various manufacturing leadership roles, including General Electric and United Technologies Corporation as the Global Supply Chain GM, as well as extensive merger and acquisition experience. Before joining MMG, John worked in the private equity space and led a turnaround as CEO, ultimately executing a transaction that rewarded all shareholders. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.

Andrew Curland
President, Engineered Extrusions
Andrew joined Momentum Manufacturing Group in 2019 after leading the sale of his company, Vitex Extrusions, to MMG. He had been with Vitex since 2002, holding sales and operational leadership roles. In 2007, he purchased Vitex in partnership with a private equity firm and became CEO/President. Previously, Andrew founded Stamford Metals Corporation in New York and has held sales and marketing leadership roles in the aluminum and steel industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Mercy College.

Matthew Smith
President, Industrial
Matt joined Momentum Manufacturing Group (formerly NSA Industries) in 1988. As a prior operator of CNC lathes and screw machines, metal fabrication production manager, and a member of the purchasing organization, he brings essential product knowledge and application expertise to the management team. Matt served as MMG’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing for over seven years before stepping into the role of Senior Vice President of the Northern operations for three years. Today he is focused on running MMG’s industrial business unit as its President.
Darci Ruggles
Director, Quality Systems
Darci joined Momentum Manufacturing Group (formerly NSA Industries, LLC) in 2008. She has over 20 years of quality systems experience. Darci began her career in Quality at Lydall-Automotive Group, a 1st tier automotive supplier. She is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and has contributed to multiple projects within MMG’s Northern facilities. Recently promoted to Director of MMG Quality Systems in December 2020, Darci has focused on implementing best practices across all MMG facilities.
